Synthetic health-event records — timestamps, locations, event types, and severities — generated for DS-551’s Epidemic Engine. This is the batch form; in the streaming projects the same shape of data arrives as Kafka events.
Being synthetic is the point: it behaves like operational data (bursts, duplicates, the occasional malformed row) without any privacy constraints, so you can shard it, replay it, and break it freely.
